Please read carefully before completing any purchase or order with us. By purchasing, you agree to all the terms and conditions laid out below.
These terms and conditions apply to all orders.
We amend these terms from time to time, so any time you wish to place an order with us, please check back to ensure you understand and accept any changes made.​
Due to the preparation that goes into a celebration cake, we cannot refund cakes that are cancelled less than 48 hours before the agreed collection date. Cakes cancelled prior to this period can be refunded 80% (20% of your payment acts as a non-refundable deposit to secure the date).
If you’re cancelling a wedding cake booking and have already paid the £50 deposit, we will not be able to issue a refund for this amount. ​​

If you’re unhappy with the product/s you’ve received please notify us via email. ​Complaints should be sent immediately to 404bakes@gmail.com. Evidence of any faults, damages or discrepancies should be included, and if a refund is necessary this will be given entirely at our discretion.

​We cannot be held liable for damage or changes to cakes due to improper transportation or storage, once they have been handed over to the customer.
If you have a concern about a cake you have collected, please email 404bakes@gmail.com so that we can resolve the issue.

It is essential that you make us aware of any allergies or special dietary requirements before purchasing or completing your booking.
All of our products are baked to order in an environment where wheat gluten, soya, sesame and nuts are stored handled.
While all of our cakes are made without animal products we are not certified "free from" any ingredients. Similarly, we can offer cakes made with gluten-alternative flours and/or ‘without nuts’, but there is always a small risk of cross-contamination and therefore do not recommend our products for anyone with severe food allergies.
Due to the fresh flower decoration, we recommend collecting on the day the cake is being served. If you're going to be collecting the day before, please let us know so we can decorate accordingly. If you'd like to change your allocated collection time, please give at least 24 hours notice.
Our cakes are best eaten at room temperature. Our cakes will last well for up to 3 days airtight and kept refrigerated. If you are storing a cake overnight you should remove it from the fridge at least 1 hour before serving so that it reaches the optimal temperature for eating.

All celebration cakes are by collection-only Weds-Friday. We deliver wedding cakes within Bristol for a flat fee of £30. Locations beyond Bristol are subject to an additional delivery fee.
